Manager of Inventory Management

•Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory receiving, shipping, and other inventory areas.
•Coordinate communication with Accounting, Store and Operation/Production management and other impacted departments
•Direct the scheduling and ensure performance of physical inventories; establish and negotiate tactic operation among the inventory controllers.
•Responsible for inventory planning, scheduling and general management
•Ensure adequate inventory of items/product in accord with inventory cycles
•Determines the plan for the storage of all inventory product using frequency specifications and replacement calculations to determine fill rate
•Developing & Maintaining the mini. & max. level for each stores according to the established strategies.
•Oversee the planning, scheduling, and general management of all inbound product
•Responsible for all resetting of product lines to maximize efficiency in the stores.
•Monitoring the process of ordering and material request.
•Ensures compliance to quality initiatives
•Develops and implements inventory control and shop floor systems and procedures to support in the management of max. & mini strategy and assisting in producing quality and cost-efficient products.
•Managing the evaluation of increased production efficiency, and cycle time reduction.
•Controlling and improving material flow to the line and workshop yard.
•Implementing Pull System/Kanaban.
•Identifying any raised issues and resolve them accordingly.
•Communicating with finance, and sales and operations personnel regarding business level forecasts, inventory reserves, and other factors which may affect inventory.
•Setting up procedures of the expedition systems to all stores.
•Monitoring logistics business involvement in clearing the shipments from the port.
•Submitting the semi-annual report of the Inventory status ( max. & mini, ) to the business units.

Skills

 BS in Business, Logistics.
 10 years experience as an inventory controller in the industrial & retails stores and not less than 2 years experience logistics operations.
 Fluent in Arabic and English.

BS in Business, Logistics
