Counter Sales
Division / Sector Majdouie Motors Parts
To contribute effectively to the achievement of retails sales targets of the outlet by rendering excellent counter frontline sales service to customers.
To manage the issuing of receipts, receiving payments and updating purchase records.
Actively seeks to achieve sales targets, as set out by Manager - Retail Sales, by continuously striving to be a productive and efficient member of the counter sales team.
Ensures customer satisfaction by attending to customer needs / enquiries in a hospitable and speedy manner.
Ensures customers are not made to wait an excessive amount of time before being attended to.
Consistently updates knowledge of spare parts available at MHS and their corresponding parts in order to maintain swift responses to customer enquiries.
Maintains the sales records in the computer network and ensures they are correct and up to date, in order to illustrate accurate demand data and inventory needs.
Always answers the phones in a courteous and polite manner and maintain the scripted telephonic dialogue illustrated during training.
Ensures that the caller’s needs are sufficiently addressed and that all their details have been obtained before terminating the phone call, in order to maximize the potential of achieving sales.
Determines which spare parts are required, based on inspections of old parts, customer requests, vehicle addressed and /or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.
Issues sales slips and prepares receipts quickly and accurately
Politely advises customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available in order meet sales targets and maintain customer base.
Meticulously examines returned parts for defects, and handle the exchange of defective parts or the reimbursement of its value to customers.
Follows procedures of reporting on performance, budgets and other reports required from time to time to the supervisor.
