Store Supervisor

Purpose of the Job (Overall Accountability)
 The job holder is responsible to control, supervise, monitor the material handling, storing, receiving and distribution according to the best practise and implemented procedures.
 The job holder is responsible to ensure adequate storing of material and as per the expected routing, storing, and transferring issues, and provide further recommendations about inner or stationary stock other than ordinary stock level reporting to the related parties.
Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities
 To analyze the nature of stored material movement per the demand and ordering to optimize the process through lowering the effort needed.
 To provide comprehensive methods for listing items and to trace the validity for the stored items, that serve both the warehouse storekeepers and ERP implemented.
 Setting up, implement, adopt, follow up and audit guidelines and studies tackling warehouse layout and physical management, and assist in the planning role of the material management.
 To provide a useful reporting and documentation tackle the traceability, control, and allocation that monitor stock.
 Provide guideline support processing the related activities to material management and warehouse controlling; like inspection for purchased or raw material, holding of rejected batches, and the transferring of materials…etc.
 Classify the items upon storing methods: LIFO, FIFO, STP…etc, as appropriate.
 To provide layouts for ABC Analysis of the warehouse layout, showing the factors and their priorities in the recommended layout; repetition, value, validity or other criteria.
 To initiate inside maps the shows the entrance, exist, safety equipments, movement tunnels, Forklift Park or other issues.
 Ensure the safety issues when arranging items, and lowering the factors of accidents or defects as much as possible, and follow up to provide reports about such cases.
 To state methods for storing either horizontal or vertical storing that including suitable numerical methods to track and get needed items easily.
 Emphasize on the maximum and lower capacities are met when stock for each item throughout the design and recommend modifications for the layout.
 Implant 5s within the warehouse for all storing, inspection, holding, preparing or other areas within layout.

Skills

Qualifications / Experience

Essential
 Scientific Degree in Actuarial Science, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management or any related fields.
 Experience of more than 2 years as warehouse storekeeper in the desired field.
 Ability to communicate in Arabic or English.
 Ability to work with Computer; Microsoft Office and Windows.
Desirable
 Fluency in Arabic and English; reading, writing, and speaking.
 Total Experience in Logistics, Warehouse, or related fields for more than 3 years.
 Any specialized-related certificate or related courses to Warehouse Management.
 Familiarity of working with ABC analysis, BOM, Demand scheduling…etc.
 Proven Ability to work with any analytical-compatible software; Excel, SPSS…etc.
 Commercial back ground with knowledge of importing and customs clearance.

Education

 Scientific Degree in Actuarial Science, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management or any rela
